Abstract
The ranges of variation and the average concentrations of heavy metals the water of some tributaries of Lake Ladoga, and the levels of heavy metals in the water of a number of its northern and southern regions were found. The concentrations of heavy metals in the organs and tissues of the main commercial fish species of Lake Ladoga, as well as in ectoparasites localized on the gills of this fish were estimated. The results of postmortem examinations of external covers, gills and internal of the Ladoga fish are evaluated.
