Russian Journal of General Chemistry Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Abstract

Phosphorylation of 4-methylphenyl 2,3-di-O-benzoyl-1-thio-β-D-ribofuranoside, followed by removal of the benzoyl protection afforded 1-S-(4-methylphenyl)-1-thio-β-D-ribofuranoside 5-phosphates. The synthesized compounds showed insecticidal activity against the vetch aphid Megoura viciae Buckt in combination with low toxicity.
