Self-assembly in the MnX2-2-(7-bromo-2-oxo-5-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-1,4-benzodiazepin-1-yl)acetohydrazide-salicylic aldehyde systems: Composition, structure, and properties of the products

Abstract

Complexes of Mn(II) with 2-(7-bromo-2-oxo-5-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-1,4-benzodiazepin-1-yl)-acetohydrazide and product of its condensation with salicylic aldehyde have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, electrical conductivity, and magnetic susceptibility. Thermal stability of the complexes has been characterized. Structure of the coordination node of the complexes has been determined by X-ray absorption spectroscopy.
