Abstract

Analysis of the Russian education reform results is given. Negative effects of the reform (an increase in the number of paid educational institutions providing low quality education, disproportion in training of specialists, an increase in the paid education sector etc.) and causes of these effects are described. A way to correct the situation in the field of national education is pointed out.
