Abstract

A new ligand system, 3,5-di-tert-butyl-1,4-benzoquinone ferrocenoylhydrazone, was synthesized and its complexes with zinc(II), Hg(II), and palladium(II) were prepared. The compounds were studied by IR, electron absorption, and 1H NMR spectroscopy. Structure of the compounds obtained is discussed.
