Abstract

The paper provides information about the Institute of Hydrocarbon Processing which was founded in 2003 and is the yangest chemical institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IHP SB RAS). Advances of the Institute both in basic applied research, as well as perspective lines of research on hydrocarbon processing technologies and synthesis of carbon materials are demonstrated.
