Abstract

Application of the radio holographic method for prospecting for the local ore bodies is considered by the example of the Loipishnyun area of the Monchegorsk ore region. The radio holographic method is a very fast and efficient instrument for visualizing the geoelectrical heterogeneities in the Earth’s crust. Based on the surface array measurements of the amplitude and phase electromagnetic responses, the holographic reconstruction of the medium locates anomalous areas with high electric conductivity.
