Abstract
The heterogeneity of various cellulose samples was characterized by methods of thermomechanical spectroscopy, turbidimetric titration of cadoxene solutions, and viscosimetry. The correspondence in the values of molecular masses and fractional composition evaluated by different methods was observed for cellulose isolated from wood. Along with traditional solution methods, the nonsolution method of thermomechanical spectroscopy can also be used for the estimation of molecular-mass distribution of cellulose.
