Abstract
The acid-base properties of dioxane lignins from the roseroot stonecrop (Rhodiola rosea L.) and the saw-wort (Serratula coronata L.) have been studied by spectrophotometrically determining the ionization constants for phenol hydroxyl groups. A correlation between the molecular masses of the fractions of lignins and their acid-base properties has been established.
