Abstract
It was shown by the example of 1-, 2-, and 4-phenylethynylpyrene 2′-arabino-carbamate derivatives of uridine that the position of pyrene substitution substantially affects the spectral and photophysical properties of the fluorophore and its ability to interact with the nucleobase.
