Assessment of relationships between symbionts in phytoplankton community

Abstract

The results of studies on phytoplankton community have been analyzed from the aspect of associative symbiosis. It has been shown that associative connections between symbionts in the community are determined by the presence of the main partner (host), dominant micropartners capable of substituting for each other, and associative microsymbionts. An algorithm is proposed for determining the structure of phytoplankton community formed on the basis of associative symbiosis of microalgae.
