Quantification of preferences in the problem of ranking multidimensional alternatives

Abstract

Two methods of quantification of information about preferences of a decision-making person are described. It is shown that quantified information obtained in this way is sufficient for ranking multidimensional alternatives based on additive utility functions. A possible method for classification of the alternatives considered is specified.
