Abstract

In this paper, we propose a new parametric family of filters with a finite impulse response based on convolutions of splines with a rectangular pulse. An algorithm for searching for a parameter that optimizes the deviation of the magnitude response in the pass and stop bands was developed and theoretically substantiated. A numerical experiment, which consists in comparing the new filters with window filters and optimal Chebyshev filters, was carried out.
