Abstract
Suboptimal algorithms for receiving and processing BOC signals have been developed for use in modern and advanced Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), such as GPS (USA), Galileo (European Union), GLONASS (Russia), and BeiDou (China). The problem statement is carried out in relation to a vector discrete-continuous Markov random process for the case when its continuous part is a vector diffusion Markov process, and the discrete part is characterized by a simple Markov chain for several positions. It is assumed that useful BOC signals are observed against the background of additive white Gaussian noise. Analytical relations are obtained for the suboptimal estimate and the covariance matrix of suboptimal estimation errors for the sample of the vector of continuous parameters. The block diagrams of those modules of the suboptimal system for receiving and processing BOC signals in GNSS that differ from the corresponding modules of the quasi-optimal system are presented. The results of this paper are fully applicable in cases of noise-like signals of modern GNSS for which BOC signals are not yet used.
