Abstract

This paper implements mathematically rigorous extended trial function algorithm to address cubic–quartic optical solitons in birefringent fibers having Kudryashov’s law of nonlinear refractive index. Three special cases of the power-law nonlinearity parameter are taken into consideration. Bright and singular optical solitons emerge from this analytical scheme.
