Abstract

The task concerning the maximally allowable packet loss ratio distributed between route links (from source to destination vertices), which enters into the multicast routing problem, is analyzed using the reliable multicast transmission methods standardized for Wi-Fi networks in 2012. In certain particular cases, the explicit form of accurate solutions has been obtained. In the general case, approximate algorithms based on the greedy strategy are proposed and their efficiency is estimated.
