Abstract
A system for control of the shape and duration of radiated ultra-wideband pulses is proposed. The signal in the far-field zone of the antenna is synthesized as a superposition of time-shifted weighted basis signals, which are formed by the channels of the system. The basis signal is specified a priori, namely, its shape is the same for each channel of the system. Examples of the synthesis of pulses with different shapes and durations are given for a particular radiator.
