Abstract
The effect of imperfect isolation of the channels of the measurement instrument during measurements of the amplitude and phase characteristics of the elements of a phased array antenna (PAA) on the attainable depth of the nulls formed in the antenna radiation pattern is analyzed. Analytical expressions for the quantitative estimation of the influence of this effect on the PAA pattern are derived. The accuracy of the proposed estimates is verified experimentally.
