Abstract

The method for calculating parameters of transparent metal films is improved. An equation for the current flowing along a transparent radiator is derived and solved. The current distribution along the radiator’s axis is analyzed on the basis of a solution to this equation. It is shown that, depending on parameters, transparent materials fall into two groups with two different types of the current distribution. Antenna variants are calculated. A specific model antenna is proposed.
