Abstract

Stages of the joint processing of the data of remote sensing of the Earth surface in the optical and radar bands are presented. Application capabilities of the Earth observation from space in two above bands are compared. Potentialities and limitations of joint analysis methods are illustrated. Most preferable parameters of the configuration of the layout of promising integrated remote sensing of the Earth from space in the radio and optical bands in the interests of the economical activity on the territory of the Russian Federation are determined.
