Abstract
A procedure for synthesizing matching networks (MNs) placed at the inputs of hybrid-ring power divider/combiners (HRPDCs) has been developed. It is shown that, with five-section MNs connected to the HRPDC inputs, the HRPDC bandwidth approaches its theoretical limit.
