Abstract
Signal and noise passage through a nonlinear electric filter has been investigated experimentally. It is found that the output signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the filter exceeds its input SNR. The dependences of this ratio on the signal frequency and the spectral density of the input noise intensity have been determined. The mechanism of stochastic filtering has been analyzed briefly.
