Abstract

A new class of demodulation algorithms—a class of asymptotically robust invariant algorithms—is proposed. These algorithms find applications when noise distributions are a priori uncertain and information signals and interferences have parametric a priori uncertainties. The technique developed for synthesizing such algorithms is based both on the invariance and minimax principles and on the asymptotic (with respect to the size of an observed sample) Bayesian approach. As an example, the algorithms for demodulating signals with differential phase modulation are presented.
