Abstract

An efficient combined method is proposed for electrodynamic analysis of a wide class of waveguide devices including waffle filters and filters built around H-waveguide sections. The solution is based on the Galerkin method applied with allowance for the edge singularity of the field, the mode-matching method, and the method of generalized scattering matrices. Low-frequency waffle filters for centimeter-wavelength multiband feeder channels are calculated.
