Abstract
The influence of the parameters of the photodiode and the electric circuit of the photodetector device on the detection range of the gas leaks detected with a TLG-01 remote route laser gas analyzer is demonstrated. The influence of the radiation transmitted by the atmosphere on the TLG-01 spectral characteristics is estimated. It is found out that photodetector devices with λCO ≈ 3.7 μm should be considered optimal for TLG-01 gas analyzers operating in ground routes.
