Diffraction of the electromagnetic field by bodies of revolution with a chiral coating

Abstract

A new realization of the modified method of discrete sources is proposed for solving the 3D vector problem of scattering of the electromagnetic field by a body of revolution with a chiral coating. The method is tested for the problem of scattering by a sphere with a dielectric coating. Numerical results are presented for bodies of various geometries.
