Abstract
The efficiency of calculation of Fresnel diffraction patterns via the Kotel’nikov theorem is considered. A computer model based on an algorithm proposed earlier is built. It is shown that this algorithm provides satisfactory agreement with the results of calculations performed with the use of well-known, but more laborious, methods.
