Magnetic-field controlled resonances in a gapped-post-adjacent-plunger system

Abstract

It is found that, in a gapped-post-adjacent-plunger system, reflection of microwave radiation occurs. This reflection is dependent on the magnitude and direction of the magnetic field. It is indicated that this phenomenon can be used for the development of tunable microwave cavities.
