Abstract
Explicit formulas are derived for a resonator whose fundamental mode is a Gaussian beam with complex astigmatism. The derived formulas can be used to express the beam characteristics directly in terms of the beam matrix and to avoid the procedure of finding the eigenvectors of this matrix. An example is presented.
