Abstract
The characteristics of a biconical antenna with a flare angle of 1° to 80° and an electrical length of 1 to 60 are calculated via the partial-domain method. The maximum operating frequency band for such antennas is determined from the calculated frequency-dependent input impedance and radiation patterns.
