Abstract
The effect of feedback on the efficiency of microwave radiation in a reflex triode with a virtual cathode is studied. Experimental data that allow establishment of a relation between (i) the positions of reflecting surfaces providing for the feedback, (ii) the radiation frequency, and (iii) the radiation power are obtained. It is demonstrated that the dependence of the power on the positions of the surfaces is periodic.
