Stationary states of the electron flow in a spherical diode

Abstract

Convergent stationary self-consistent electron flows in a spherical diode are studied. The flow with a limited angle and a finite transverse emittance is described. The spherically symmetrical state of an ensemble of electrons that is characterized by a large scatter in angular momenta of particles is studied.
