Polarization of the electromagnetic field of modes propagating in an open circular ferrite waveguide

Abstract

An open circular longitudinally magnetized ferrite waveguide is considered. Both the frequency-dependent rotation angle of the polarization plane of the HE 11 mode propagating in a lossless waveguide and the effect of ferrite loss on the field polarization is studied.
