Abstract

We have experimentally studied the dependence of the diffraction efficiency of nonoblique transmission holograms in a \((\overline {11} 0)\)-cut Bi12TiO20 photorefractive crystal on the orientation angle. For theoretical explanation of the obtained results, it is necessary to assume that the crystal contains amplitude gratings in addition to the phase gratings.
