Abstract
A comparative analysis of the efficiency of various models for the external energy supply to airfoil in transonic flight regimes has been carried out. It is established that a decrease in the wave drag of the airfoil is independent of the method of energy supply and is entirely determined by its magnitude. Particular features of a model only influence the local flow characteristics.
