Raman scattering on overtones of fully symmetric LO phonons in Zn0.9Mn0.1O nanocrystals under resonance excitation conditions

Abstract

Resonance Raman spectroscopy has been used to study multiphonon scattering on the overtones of fully symmetric LO phonons in the crystal lattice of Mn-doped ZnO nanorods. A relationship between the scattering intensity and defectness of nanorods is established, which is manifested by the presence of green luminescence.
