Abstract
Acoustic emission (AE) in VSt3sp grade steel with different structures (in as-annealed and asquenched states) has been studied during the electrolytic saturation of samples with hydrogen. It is established that the dependence of the count rate on the hydrogenation time has the form of a curve with maximum. The main factors influencing the AE during hydrogenation of the metal are considered and their role is analyzed.
