Abstract
We present the results of the first domestic experimental investigation of the optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) in commercial thermoluminescence (TL) detectors based on proton-irradiated anion-defect corundum. It is demonstrated that the OSL and TL phenomena can, in principle, be jointly used for the dose diagnostics of accelerated particle beams. The observed phenomena have good prospects for application in radiation physics.
