Features of the hole shape formation during laser drilling of an ultrafine-grained aluminum alloy

Abstract

It is demonstrated that the interaction of laser radiation with ultrafine-grained aluminum alloys substantially differs from that with analogous coarse-grained materials, which accounts for a change in the shape of holes formed during precise laser machining.
