Abstract
We propose a method of selective suppression of the electron bunching at low harmonics of the external drive frequency in gyromultipliers of the klystron type. This approach improves the selectivity of generation at the multiple frequency by decreasing the probability of parasitic low harmonic excitation of the output cavity. The analytical conclusions are confirmed by the results of numerical simulation of the electron bunching space in a weakly relativistic gyromultiplier.
