Abstract
We report on the results of computer simulation of data from channels 1–7 (0.46–2.1 μm) of the MODIS/Terra spectroradiometer obtained using MODTRAN5 software package. The accuracy of the description of the MODIS data is estimated using the characteristics of the system measured by the spectroradiometer for the satellite scenes under investigation.
