Abstract
The energy spectrum and binding energy of a positronium localized in a spherical nanopore in a solid matrix and their dependence on the nanopores radius are investigated theoretically. We propose a new optical method for determining the nanopores size, based on comparison of experimental absorption (emission) spectra of a positronium in nanopores with the theoretical dependences of the positronium energy spectra in the nanopore radius.
