Effect of the shape of an antiferromagnetic nanoparticle on its magnetization

Abstract

The dependence of the magnetization of an antiferromagnetic nanoparticle on its shape is studied in terms of a core-shell model. The magnetizations of a nanodisk, nanowire, and spherical particle are shown to differ several fold.
