Abstract

A simple semi-empirical description is proposed for atomic photoionization parameters with attosecond sweep on the basis of the sudden perturbation approximation. The results of model calculations are in good agreement with the complete quantum-mechanical description of the process based on the numerical solution of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation, including the field of the atom as well as the fields of VUV and IR pulses.
