Abstract
Superelastic electron scattering by metastable strontium atoms is experimentally studied using intersecting electron and atomic beams and an electron spectrometer. The energy dependence of the effective cross section of superelastic electron scattering in the energy range 0.15–2.0 eV has been obtained for the first time.
