Formation of near-electrode charge in asymmetric lasers with a transverse RF discharge

Abstract

The electric characteristics of the discharge in asymmetric laser tubes are measured. The difference between the same characteristics in laser tubes of standard design is explained by the specifics in near-electrode charge formation.
