First-order phase transition in manganese arsenide

Abstract

The magnetic properties of equiatomic polycrystalline manganese arsenide containing single grains bound by adhesive binder have been investigated. It has been shown that the temperature of the first-order phase transition is determined by the degree of binding between individual grains.
