Abstract

Production of ϕ mesons in small collision systems at \(\sqrt {{{s}_{{NN}}}} ~\) = 200 GeV has been studied in the PHENIX experiment at the RHIC. The ϕ meson nuclear modification factors have been investigated in the following collision systems: p + Al, p + Au, d + Au, and 3He + Au. The ϕ meson nuclear modification factors have been compared with the π0 meson nuclear modification factors in p + Al and 3He + Au collisions and the ϕ, π0 meson nuclear modification factors have been compared with the nuclear modification factors \({{\left( {p + \bar {p}} \right)} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{\left( {p + \bar {p}} \right)} 2}} \right. \kern-0em} 2}\) in the p + Au collisions.
