Abstract

The study presents the results of the yield analysis of a promising medical radioisotope \({}^{177}\)Lu in \((\gamma,\alpha)\) reactions upon irradiation of natural tantalum with electron bremsstrahlung with boundary energies of 37, 40, and 55 MeV. The experimental yields are compared with the results of calculations based on the collective model of the nucleus. The isomeric ratio of the yield for \({}^{177mg}\)Lu was determined.
