Abstract

In order to follow relative yields of \({}^{209}\)Bi(\(\gamma,xn\)) reactions, samples of natural bismuth were exposed in LINAC-200 bremsstrahlung beam at four different energies. Activities of eight obtained photonuclear reaction products with neutron multiplicity up to (\(\gamma,9n\)) were observed. Reaction yields normalized to the \({}^{206}\)Bi yield were calculated. The measured relative yields of \({}^{20x}\)Bi isotopes were compared with the theoretical evaporation model based on the microscopically calculated level densities and with GEANT4 simulation.
